The Guidelines for Proposal
Preparation and Submission document is available to assist proposers in
preparing their proposals prior to submission via the WRC's Internet-based
electronic submission system. Proposers are advised to download and print this document as
it will greatly facilitate the entire process.
Preparation
- Solicited research proposals
Research proposals must be prepared in
accordance with the published Terms of Reference
(ToRs) for each solicited project. The ToRs are made available on the WRC
website when the call for solicited proposals is announced.
- Non-solicited research proposals
- Special attention should be given to the indicated thrust and programme areas, to ensure that proposals received are aligned with the WRC’s core strategic research objectives and the specific focus of the KSA being approached for funding
- Before preparing a proposal in this category, it is advisable to take note of
the proposed List of Projects to be Solicited by each KSA, to avoid possible
needless duplication of effort
Submission
- All proposals must be submitted via the prescribed, Internet-based
electronic
submission system, that is made available on the WRC website when the official
Call for Proposals is announced
NB: There is a separate call for each of the 2 research funding streams; the
Call for Non-solicited research always precedes that for Solicited research
proposals. Proposers are advised to refer to the Proposal Cycle
