Memorandum of Agreement

Research funded by the WRC is subject to the signing of a contract  between the WRC and the proposer's organisation (the contractor), respectively represented by the WRC's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and an official duly authorised by the contactor. The contract constitutes a formal Memorandum of Agreement, generally referred to, in short, as the Agreement.

An integral part of the Agreement is the approved research proposal, included as Annexure A of the signed Agreement. The Agreement places strong emphasis on deliverables and the payment of contractors on the basis of submission and/or acceptance of these deliverables.
