Chief Financial Officer

Mr Patel's responsibility is to manage financial support to all the Key Strategic Areas at the Water Research Commission. He has spent a substantial part of his working career in the private sector. His main focus is to keep up with changes in financial reporting required by the Board of the WRC, National Treasury, the Auditor General, Internal Auditors, legislation such as PFMA, and other such changes whilst maintaining current business operations.
