Mr Bonani Madikizela

Mr Bonani Madikizela has 18 years working experience related to natural resources, particularly to water resource quality and bio-monitoring with respect to inland freshwater ecosystem such as rivers, dams and wetlands. He prioritises, supports, and coordinates research done by many organizations and independent consultants across the country. Due to historic lack of attention to wetlands health integrity, his current focus is biased to them including river rehabilitation, with the intention to provide methods and guidelines that ensure sustainable utilisation of these resources, without furthering biodiversity loss. He has had interactions with experts at national and international levels in aquatic ecosystem research and development.
