National Benchmarking Initiative for Water
Services.
Launched in 2005, this joint initiative between the WRC,
DWAF
(Department of Water Affairs and Forestry) and
SALGA (SA
Local Government Association), will
undertake annual benchmarking of key performance
indicators for the provision of water services in
participating municipalities. This involves site
visits and quality control of information to ensure
consistency and reliability.
