Stasoft is a tool that can be used for designing, modeling and controlling water treatment processes that involve carbonate chemistry.

Stasoft 4 allows you to calculate and display the changes in chemical composition of any given water resulting from the application of a succession of treatment processes. 

The effect of any change in initial water composition or treatment is immediately shown on the screen. You can choose, from the Parameter Menu, up to 14 parameters for the composition of the initial water and can enter or alter these values. 

Similarly, from the Process Menu, up to 5 treatment processes may be chosen and applied in succession to the initial water. Available processes include the addition of all commonly used treatment chemicals, various equilibria and blending. 

Stasoft is intended for use with drinking waters but can be applied to others, provided that due regard is paid to the assumptions inherent in it’s design.
