It’s time to hold hands with our brothers and sisters to build Team Africa

The recent xenophobic attacks are a wake-up call to all South Africans to focus energies towards building Team Africa, said Dhesigen Naidoo, WRC CEO on Wednesday, 29 April 2015.

“The science is clear, our ability to combat the vagaries of climate change, land degradation, biodiversity loss and resource scarcity, in particular water, have the African region as its theatre of operation. It has no regard for political boundaries or ethnic identities. In the face of these phenomenal challenges to our sustainable development pathway, our ability to hold hands with our brothers and sisters to build Team Africa is paramount if we are going to have reasonable levels of success of a brighter future for this country and its sister countries in the region”, Naidoo said.
