 Magalies Water

2010/09/21

As of 1 September 2010, Magalies Water has officially appointed its new Chief Executive, Mr Mboniseni Dlamini.  He takes up office at the organisation’s head office in Rustenburg, North West Province.

Mr Dlamini is not a newcomer to the world of water services and its challenges in South Africa.  He formerly held the post of General Manager of Operations at Umgeni Water, the largest bulk water supplier in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

His immediate focus in his new role at Magalies Water will be on improving service delivery within the organisation and introducing operational and financial best practice in water services management in all aspects of the business.

A firm believer in the power of stakeholder engagement, Mr Dlamini will be looking to engage with, and get feedback from, all those Magalies Water’s stakeholders who have a vested interest in seeing a more efficient and effective organisation, from customers and strategic partners, to Municipalities and key Government departments.

Over the coming months, as part of a new strategic and operational approach to the business, he will be undertaking a number of key stakeholder engagement activities including fact-finding visits, road-shows and meetings.
