Bursaries and posts available at UFS

The University of the Free State is offering a range of exciting new work and study opportunities.

The Centre for Environmental Management is offering masters, doctoral and post-doctoral posts. Successful candidates for the posts will be required to perform heavy field work and 4x4 driving skills would be advantageous. Then the strategy academic cluster: water management in water-scarce areas is offering master, doctors and post-doctoral bursaries for 2011, with special interest in the following focus areas:

·         Management of aquatic ecosystems in water-scarce areas;

·         Climate change and variability in water-scarce areas;

·         Managing water scarcity in agriculture; and

·         Optimal water use for development in water-scarce areas.
