A new book on gender equality in leadership

The book advocates for a change in mindset on gender equality in leadership as a compliance requirement to gender diverse leadership as a business imperative that is crucial for improvement in organizational performance, increased innovation and profitability. The book is not about women as better leaders than men, but it emphasizes the value of diverse perspectives in leadership teams when responding to complex business challenges of the 21st century.

The globalized economic environment of the 21st century requires a new type of leadership that combines the masculine and feminine leadership qualities. Women; as the source of under-utilized talent pool and the fastest growing market for consumer goods and services, can no longer be ignored by companies that want to be ahead of their competitors in a highly competitive global economic environment. Companies that want to benefit from the huge female market and its growing purchasing power must embrace gender-diverse leadership in order to improve their understanding of the needs of the female market so that they can capture a huge share of this market.
