The main aim of the Symposium focuses on the central role of ecohydraulics to analyse the interrelationship between water and the environment, the assessment of human-induced environmental impact and the development of water management strategies harmonising economic and ecological requirements. The event is organised by the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna and the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research.
