The membranes and systems are now being manufactured locally by Ikusasa water management (IWM) , a subsidiary of Ikusasa Chemicals Pty Ltd. IWM is a visionary company providing cutting edge membrane and water management technologies through its modern producing facilities, highly qualified and experienced personnel.

The capillary ultra-filtration membrane technology has many advantages over conventional water treatment:ikusasa-water-management

  • The product water is of higher quality
  • The process is easy to automate and less operator intervention is required
  • A physical barrier against pathogens, including parasites and chlorine resistant species, is offered
  • Quality of product water is less sensitive to feed water quality variations

erwatThe BioSURE technology is exclusively licensed to East Rand Water Care Company (ERWAT). ERWAT offers a world-class, yet economic solution to water and wastewater management through its ground- breaking advanced technologies.

The BioSURE technology is a cost effective biological treatment option for reducing sulphate in acid mine water without the external addition of chemicals. The BioSURE process removes acid from acid rich mine water.
