coincide with this financial year period. The call for
Solicited proposals and associated terms of reference will
commence on 18 June 2008.
Please
familiarise yourself with the information below before you
start preparing an application.
NON-SOLICITED FUNDING
The
following table indicates the anticipated distribution of
funds for new projects within each KSA for each of
the 2 main funding streams (This is important to
consider when responding to the 2008 call for proposals).
Please note that these allocations are only an indication
of the proposed distribution. The final amounts may differ

The
deadline for the submission of Non-solicited
proposals is 7 July 2008 at 24:00.
Please ensure that applications are completed well in
advance of the deadlines as the volume and external
factors such as load shedding could affect the efficiency
of the system. It is also advisable to download the
Guidelines for Proposal Preparation and Submission
from the website before you start preparing an
application. Also take note of the list of solicited
proposal titles at the end to avoid duplication.
An
electronic helpdesk and call centre is available should
you encounter any problems completing the application
forms on line. E-mail or phone Pieter Smit at
pieters@wrc.org.za
or
012 – 330 9052 (7h45 – 16h00 on week days).
